Day 7 weekend with partner
Our first weekend in Norman, Oklahoma, started with a spectacular football match. Before my exchange partner Trevor's dad drove us to the stadium, we had a typical American breakfast : Chick-fil-a breakfast with coke. It took a while to find a parking lot because there were so many cars from Oklahoma City, Norman and West Virginia. The Oklahoma Sooners, known as OU, were playing against West Virginia. The OU team was way better than West Virginia so the conclusion of that is the final score : 52-14 .
Many people left the stadium after the 3rd quarter because it was already clear who would win.
After the match the 80000 people had to get out of the stadium so it was very crowded and it took a while until we were at our car.
After driving home we headed over to the Walmart and bought some groceries. In the evening we went to the Leytons' house and played volleyball, ping-pong and poker with some other GAPP students, which was very fun.
The next day the whole family went to Church where we met Leyton and Amelie and Chloe and Chiara. Afterwards we drove to Oklahoma City to celebrate Trevor's grandfather's and his cousin's birthdays. We ate lunch and cake while talking about Germany.
After that Trevor and I met the other students at rec center, a kind of gym, where we played pool and tennis together.
In the evening we watched Inception on TV at home.
We were really tired at the end of the day because it had been a very stuffed day, so we went to bed very early.
